The Brief..... Total transformation. Remove all existing slabs, excavate, create a clay brick courtyard patio in herringbone style with timber raised beds, planted with Herbaceous plants and espalier fruit trees. Create a typical English Garden with year round colour and scent. Add irrigation for watering.

This is what we had to work with. typical new build garden with generic slabs and badly laid lawn.

We started by removing the old slabs and lawn, then prepared the ground and levels and installed drainage channels and clay paver surround, we also started building the raised beds using 37 sleepers.

Next we installed the remainder of the pavers in herring bone pattern and finished the raised beds, we painted the sleepers and fence in dark oak for a beautiful colour contrast and a great background for the magnificent planting.
